On Thursday, October 10, GTWT hosted its 13th Annual Fashion Show Luncheon at Our Lady of the Angels Cathedral in downtown Los Angeles. The event is held every year to commend the accomplishments of program participants, showcase the achievements of GTWT, and to thank sponsors and supporters of GTWT.
The main event of the luncheon every year is the fashion show, during which the young ladies from GTWT are introduced to attendees as they walk the runway, an empowering opportunity to showcase their accomplishments and build self-confidence. Many thanks to Stop Staring! and Byer for donating such stunning dresses, which the participants get to keep!

The Fashion Show Luncheon also included a silent auction and touching speeches made by Mónica Gil, Nielsen Senior Vice President of Government and Public Affairs; Dahiana Jacobo, our 2013 Distinguished Graduate; and Willie Zuniga, President and CEO of Grifols, a cherished GTWT partner. Argelia Atilano, a Univision television personality and co-host of the popular KLVE 107.5 FM morning show graciously spent the afternoon as our Mistress of Ceremony.
